Take Time by the Hand, so It Doesn’t Pass You By – Daily Shatzi: Thursday Theme

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday 🙂

Today I want to talk about Time, with a capital “T”.

Time is all-consuming. It’s the eternal runner, never stopping, never bending and never faltering.

If you ever had the chance to feel a perfect kiss, a flawless moment that enchanted your heart… if you ever felt magic in your life, just once… then Time ceased to feel so absolute and unavoidable, at least once.

Procrastination is an easy flaw to catch and unfortunately it’s also one of the hardest to get rid of. You can wait and wait and wait to do something, keep putting it off, but eventually, there will be no more time to accomplish it,  and that’s how desires and dreams take a backseat for… What exactly?

Procrastinating because of laziness is one thing. Procrastinating because you just don’t care about wasting time is a complete different ball of game.

Time is incredibly valuable because it is the only thing in our life we cannot get back. It is always one step ahead of us. You can let it run away from you and feel the regrets in every step you take, or you can hold its hand, and work with it, work through it and actually get somewhere, be something. Time is the witness and the champion of your life’s greatest victory. Time is commitment, Time is patience, Time is your friend. So don’t waste it and don’t ignore it. Take it and use it to improve yourself.

Never fear it, because your age is truly just a number. You have all the time in the world, until you don’t. So start what needs to be started today.

And enjoy this Shatzi.

Song of the day

London Grammar “Wasting My Young Years”

You crossed this line
Do you find it hard to sit with me tonight?
I’ve walked these miles but I’ve walked ’em straight lined
You’ll never know what was like to be fine
I’m wasting my young years
It doesn’t matter if…
I’m chasing old ideas
It doesn’t matter if…Maybe…
We are
We are
Maybe I’m wasting my young years
Maybe…
We are
We are
Maybe I’m wasting my young years
Don’t you know that it’s only fear
I wouldn’t worry, you have all your life
I’ve heard it takes some time to get it rightI’m wasting my young years
It doesn’t matter if…
I’m chasing old ideas
It doesn’t matter if…Maybe…
We are
We are
Maybe I’m wasting my young years
Maybe…
We are
We are
Maybe I’m wasting my young yearsI don’t know what you want
Don’t leave me hanging on
Don’t know what you want
Don’t leave me hanging on

  1. Time. It is a precious commodity and one that we take for granted until we no longer have it. You do get second chances in this life. I am living proof that time is capable of being set back. 50 years young. Another pertinent post, Fantac! 🙂
