Hi y’all and welcome to JGC Blog!
Artists of today and tomorrow, writers, painters, doodlers, crafters… We all know what it feels like to have our muse abandon us when we need her the most. Finding inspiration and creativity can be the hardest thing to, especially if you have no idea where to look.
Some people might think that everything has already been thought off, written, drawn or sang. Maybe it’s true, maybe it’s not. Truthfully it does not matter. What matter is what you can do, what you can create with the things that already exist, the things able to stimulate your mind and boost your creativity.
This is where Pinterest comes in.
The website’s concept is that people post pictures or articles of whatever they create or like on their account. Others users are then able to “pin” the content on their personal board based on a singular theme.
If you haven’t create an account because you are a little intimidated by the website: I get it. I lurked around the website for the longest time and visited many boards before finally taking a leap of faith and create my own account.

It pretty much felt like opening a door to multiples realms of awesomeness.
The sheer amount of content as well as the vastness of subjects in Pinterest is absolutely amazing. You can find posts related to basically every and any existing subjects: handmade crafting, recipes, fashion, interior decor, technologies, blogging advises, relationships, movies, arts, travels…
Here are a few examples of some of boards:

As you can see, there is no shortage of material or ideas for boards. You can search for everything with anything, no matter how vague or weird your starting idea is. The results are staggeringly amazing.
Let’s try an example and see what happened: Let’s search the word “mint”

As a blogger, a woman and an adept of journaling, Pinterest is a paradise of wonderful opportunities. It literally feeds my soul.
I strongly advise anyone who wants to be more creative or who lacks inspiration to create a Pinterest account.
PS: You can make your boards private if you are not ready to share with the world yet.
