Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday 🙂
Today I wish to talk about how important it is to stand up for yourself and what you believe in.
Starting my blog, sharing my heart’s content, trying to give inspiration, motivation and happiness to other people makes me feel good, and the simple act of writing what is on my mind and how I see the world, thrills me beyond words. This is mainly why I will keep doing it. It makes me happy.
All of my friends are supportive and happy for me, and so is my family.
However, I’ve noticed that there are people in my life, some that I even considered good friends, who disapprove of me expressing myself on some sensitive topics, like depression, or self-improvement or even happiness in general.
Apparently, expressing your opinion, or even having the ambition to do so, is unbecoming. So, in five simple points, I’m here to tell them:
- If I lose you as a friend because I dare to write about racism or politics or humanism, that’s OK.
- If I lose you as a friend because I write about fighting depression when you want to pretend that it does not exist, that’s OK.
- If I lose you as a friend because I write about positivism and motivation while you resent me for having both, well that’s OK.
- If I lose you as a friend because I’m too geek for you, it’s OK.
- If I lose you as a friend because you are convince that my blog does not reflect the stereotype you have associated with the color of my skin, my gender or my nationality, it’s OK.
I’m gladly letting you go and I wish luck in life. I have no hard feelings and if one day, you want to come back you will be welcome.
To all the imperfect and stubborn dreamers out there… To all of you, who never give up your integrity and ethics for anyone… This Shatzi is for you.

Song of the day
Ella Henderson “Missed”
The love I felt for you has flown away
And now you see what you’ve done to me
So all I can ask is why, why, why
You made us feel like one
I should have known that you were wrong
Oh yeah, you did it on your own, now you gotta go
Oh no, I won’t let you get me down
You tried to hurt my feelings
You stopped me dreaming
But here I draw the line
I wish you luck in life and goodbye
You let me think that you were so, so true
Looks like truth can lie
You want me to go from a high straight down to a low
With all the excuses here, the reasons there, they’re everywhere
Chasing rainbows can be fun
Been chasing you for so long
Oh yeah, you did it on your own, now you gotta go
Oh no, I won’t let you get me down
You tried to hurt my feelings
You stopped me dreaming
But here I draw the line
I wish you luck in life and goodbye

Fantac- you nailed it again, girl! You don’t need that negativity in your life of people who don’t support and encourage you. If the world had more people out there who spoke up about things that were wrong then maybe we would see changes. Like T Swift says,
“And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Baby, I’m just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off!”

Thank you! Yes, shake it off, lol!
And you are absolutely right, if more people were willing to express their pain, their hopes, their opinion and their views of the world, then the world would improve…
Thanks for your great comment, as always! ^^
