It’s #MondayMotivation today, like every Monday! It’s a new week and a ton of strength, motivation and inspiration to share with the world and draw to yourself. People who believe want to change the world wake up early on Monday!
Now, I saw an old interview of one singer I follow, Tinashe. When asked about her future and what she hoped to accomplish in the following years, she replied: ” I don’t know. The sky’s the limit as far as what I want to do.”
Well, that a good enough answer as any, don’t you think? The sky is the limit. I love that phrase and I love the ambition, the self-confidence you can hear behind it. There is nothing wrong with that, with having those personality’s traits, especially when the world is telling you that as a woman, a young, black woman, you should not have them.
I think most of the things you go through in life can be handled easier with the right state of mind. Instead of thinking “It’s too hard, try thinking “It will be worth it”.
Don’t let fear standing in your way, because fear does not hold a candle to regret. Your life is yours to live, to feel, to fulfill. There should be no one telling you that you’re aiming to high, especially if you know that you are not.
So reach for the stars, dream of standing in the sun, strive for success in your personal and professional life. I truly believe that as long as you work hard, harder than you ever done before and keep at it, you will be able get the life-improvement and happiness that you deserve.
