Hello Everyone and Happy Friday 🙂

It’s almost the weekend, the sweet, freeing and well-earned time after our hard laboring week. Do you have plans? Are you going to hang out with friends? Family? Lover?

If you can’t do any of that for the simple and cold reason that you do not have any friends, lover or any family around, then this Shatzi is for you.

People like to assume that if you don’t have friends or if you spend most of your time alone, then you are a loser. It must be your fault, what’s wrong with you?  why are you so antisocial? Why doesn’t anyone wants to spend time with?

But sometimes, we found ourselves alone in the world through no fault of our own. Sometimes, our shyness, our inner pain, our mistrust and our insecurities are pretty much the equivalent of the Great Wall of China between us and the rest of the world.

And sometimes, people around us, the ones we thought would always, always be there, the ones we called Home… die.

If you are reading this and you have lost someone you loved, or the only one you ever loved I want you to know that I understand why you just wish to curl up inside yourself and let the world pass you by. You are not alone.

If you are reading this and you never managed to built a strong, real friendship because you been badly hurt before, you’ve been betrayed, you’ve been abused and you never learn how to cope with it, so you just can’t trust anyone or anything? I understand. You are not alone.

If you no longer have family, if you are lost, lonely and tired… if you wish to change that but have no idea how to do it? I understand. You are not alone.

I’m not telling you that it’s OK, or that it’s will be alright. Today’s Shatzi is not about pushing you towards the light, it’s about acknowledging your shadows, your pain and telling you that you. are. not. alone.

To all the beautiful people, a little chipped at the souls, I wish you the best. I wish you warmth and support, love and understanding.

And guess what? I’m not the only one wishing it. I’m not alone.

Enjoy this Shatzi.

Song of the day

Jason Walker “Echo”

Hello, hello
Anybody out there? Cause I don’t hear a sound
Alone, alone
I don’t really know where the world is but I miss it nowI’m out on the edge and I’m screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I’m alright
But it’s never enough

Cause my echo, echo
Is the only voice coming back
Shadow, shadow
Is the only friend that I have

Listen, listen
I would take a whisper if that’s all you had to give
But it isn’t, is it?
You could come and save me and try to chase the crazy right out of my head

I’m out on the edge and I’m screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I’m alright
But it’s never enough

Cause my echo, echo
Is the only voice coming back
Shadow, shadow
Is the only friend that I have

I don’t wanna be an island
I just wanna feel alive and
Get to see your face again

I don’t wanna be an island
I just wanna feel alive and
Get to see your face again

But ’til then
Just my echo, my shadow
You’re my only friend and…

I’m out on the edge and I’m screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I’m alright
But it’s never enough

Cause my echo, echo
Oh my shadow, shadow

Hello, hello
Anybody out there?

  1. What a beautiful Shatzi for the holiday season, Fantac. So many people are alone & they struggle to make it through this time of the year. I have lost several people that were close to me in the span of 4 years. It is comforting to know there is hope & light. Thank you! Continue being that beacon.
