During the course of your life a moment, that moment, will come when you are at the edge of a proverbial precipice and trembling at the idea of falling, of failing and of trying.

Whether it’s about diving into a new relationship or leaving a toxic one, choosing a new professional path or failing at the one you’re in, getting married, having children, leaving your home or your country, settling for less than what you truly want…

When the time comes to choose, to truly make a decision and not look back at it, many of us are petrified. We let our fears of the unknown and our fears of losing everything rule our minds for a couple of minutes or days, or even years, and suddenly, without even realizing it, we have made the wrong decision, the easiest one, the safer one.

Nobody wants to fall, there is always pain when you land. Nobody wants to fail either, there is pain in that too.

But if Life has taught me anything, it is that all of us have invisible wings and when we take that leap of faith, when we jump into it, when we take risks and stay true to our hearts, those wings enfolded themselves and don’t let us pummeled into the ground.

I want to believe that even if I’m too afraid to spread my own wings when I’m standing at the edge of the world and swaying towards that dark void…I won’t even need to try and fly because the edge of the world will have an invisible bridge to keep me from falling.
